So, this is what my decision to eat less candy does with me, it makes me hungry! Yes I know, people in Africa are hungry and we shouldn’t complain about it and all. Still, I hear my stomach rumbling almost every day now. So, then I decide to eat an apple (very healty, yay!) and half an hour later I’m hungry again.
I guess I can conclude from this that fruit doesn’t cut it for me, I’m doomed to eat lots and lots of candy or starve to dead. So I’ve got two options here, either stay in shape and be hungry all the time or continue eating candy and gain weight. Although the first option is less tempting it’s probably the best. And hey, I get to feel like a supermodel every day!
I guess I should take the road in between, still eat some candy and try to reduce the weight gaining by doing some sports! I started taking a walk during lunch break every day so that’s a start!

This year I decided I’d set some new years resolutions for myself and I thought it would be a nice idea to keep you updated on this every once in a while. Feel free to get angry with me for what I didn´t keep up with, maybe it will help
For this year, I decided to keep my place tidy and clean. I think up till now I succeeded in this very well. It’s been two weeks, and there’s been two cleaning sessions in here. Also, I went to Ikea yesterday and bought some cupboards to put in my bathroom where I can put in towels and all my make up and other toiletries. This means there’s more space in my closet for new clothes! I guess that brings me to my next resolution, saving up some money instead of spending it all to things I didn’t really need.
On that account, I decided to go food shopping for multiple days at one time. This actually saved me quite some money on not buying chocolate or other candy every time I’m there. If I buy more food at once, there’s simply no more space in my bags for candy! Which makes it a lot easier to keep up with my third resolution, stop eating lots and lots of candy. But, back to the money spending. It also means, no more buying expensive clothes all the time (ok, and all the stuff Ikea makes you buy when you’re there which you really didn’t need at all). So I guess I didn’t succeed in this one quite as much… but hey, you can’t do all at once right?
So, a little more on the candy. With this decision I also decided to start eating more fruits. On that one again, I did a good job. Been eating one piece of fruits for almost every this year’s had up till now and I definitely skipped the candy a lot.
The last thing I decided on was spending more time with my friends and try not to be so busy with all boring things. This of course I can’t do all on my own but I’m really gonna try to see them more often, or at least give them a call every now and then.
Ow, and I almost forgot: very important, and I guess half of the people making new years resolutions have this one on their list, more sports. Which is why I took up pilates classes again. That means, I’m dancing on Monday evenings and there’s pilates on wednesday. I think this is a good start. Maybe, when it will be less cold outside I’ll take up running again!
